ABOUT THE ARTIST
Aynsley Pasquali was born in Atlanta, Georgia in November of 1980 before moving at an early age to Southeast Asia. The extensive life experiences gathered during this time and the opportunity to study Visual Art under Steven Sadokierski have played a fundamental role in the artists style. The varied influences of eastern and western art have amalgamated into the creation of an abstract impressionistic style. The intense layering of color and painterly texture, each fighting for dominion, harmonise as they find a balanced composition. The artists watercolours meld the controlled movement of traditional Chinese ink calligraphy with contemporary western aesthetics.
Aynsley’s artwork has been shown in exhibitions in Indonesia, South Korea, Thailand, the U.S.A. and Austria.
The artists global influences have combined to create a multi-faceted style that seeks to achieve an equilibrium wherein the aesthetics of the East meet the aesthetics of the West.
